Resources

An advantage of the physician/provider community is being able to tap into the collective resources of the group. Valley Preferred is in the unique position to be able to serve its members and participants with a comprehensive lineup of carefully thought-out, practical tools, all geared toward excelling in value-based care, promoting physician/provider well-being, and ensuring that prompt assistance is available when someone needs it.

As physicians, we all want to improve the quality of care. As member physicians of Valley Preferred, we are provided with the opportunity and resources to do so.

Secure Portals

The Secure Provider and Information Portals allow members and participants to view data on quality outcomes, care gap closures, coding, and their own ACE scores. Communications, news, educational materials, and a quality improvement library are provided to support practice learning, enhancements, and community.

Clinician Well-Being

Wellness Services

Everything from support for reducing administrative burdens to mindfulness classes for stress relief are available for members and participants. Examples are complimentary health coaching, behavioral health services, and peer-to-peer counseling, all of which directly support health and well-being.

Preferred Perks

We arrange to offer resources that help save time and money – such as insurance services, practice-based amenities, and recreational opportunities – at a discount, just for our members and participants.

Practice Outreach & Education

Direct Practice Support

A team of dedicated Physician Advocacy Liaisons (PALs) and Quality Improvement Liaisons (QILs) helps with questions and education, conducting practice outreach visits in person at individual practices or via teleconference. Associate Medical Directors (AMDs), each covering a specific area in our region, provide another avenue of communication and assistance.

Outreach

Development Opportunities

Valley Preferred offers courses locally for continuing medical education credit, and as an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Portfolio Program® sponsor, Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV and PI-CME credits.

Education

Payer Services & Delegated Credentialing

The Provider and Payer Services team handles delegated credentialing so that paperwork does not fall on clinicians. Health plan management and ancillary and voluntary benefit options are provided through Populytics.

Communications

We value communication with our members and participants to keep everyone well informed and engaged as part of the Valley Preferred community. Information is shared in person and through web portals, emails, newsletters, podcasts, videos, texts, and faxes. We report on and communicate topics important to you professionally and your practice as a business.
