Valley Preferred Wins 2019 Corporate Challenge

On Friday, August 9, 2019, amateur teams from companies all over the Lehigh Valley set their sights on taking home the gold at the Corporate Challenge, a high-profile bike race that’s been going strong at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center for years. It was a well-fought race, with Valley Preferred’s Team No. 1 taking the top prize after two hours of competitive heats, and two months of training in the hot summer sun. At least one of Valley Preferred’s two teams has placed in the top three for several years running, and one also won first place last year in the 2018 race.

Co-captain Angelo Procaccino said: “Both our teams worked hard and rode a good race against our corporate competitors. Valley Preferred Team No. 1 was successful bringing home another victory this year for Valley Preferred. Our members’ commitment to participate and support the sport of cycling is appreciated, and to our new riders this year, awesome work with adapting to the support of track riding and riding a strong race.”
