A Note from Valley Preferred Leadership – Spring 2026

Posted: March 27, 2026 | Category: News

From the Desks of John Stoeckle, MD, CHQS, Medical Director and Dan Bair, Executive Director of Valley Preferred

As we reflect on the first months of 2026 and look ahead to the work before us, we are encouraged by the continued progress unfolding across Valley Preferred, as well as across the larger Jefferson Health Enterprise. This remains a strong period of evolution and opportunity, and we are grateful for the stability, professionalism, and partnership our clinicians bring to these efforts each day. Our shared commitment to high‑value care continues to strengthen our network and enhance the patient experience.

Over the past quarter, we have seen meaningful engagement across our programs—from education and member support to further clinical integration and ongoing quality initiatives. We look forward to connecting with many of you at several upcoming events, including sessions on cervical cancer screening, statin updates, and advanced care planning, as well as the Greater Lehigh Valley Independent Practice Association (GLVIPA) General Membership Meeting in June. These gatherings remain vital touchpoints for collaboration and knowledge‑sharing across our professional community.

The Achieving Clinical Excellence (ACE) Incentive Plan continues to play a central role in driving improved performance across our network. ACE 2026 Quality Outcomes will be available on the portal each month, and we encourage you to review your current performance wins and opportunities. Our collective progress reflects the ongoing partnership between our clinicians, quality teams, and operational leaders.

Quality improvement also remains a defining strength within our organization. Through local projects and system‑wide initiatives, we continue to promote best practices in care coordination, communication, and clinical outcomes. The QI Program and its growing set of resources remain available to support those interested in developing or advancing improvement efforts in their practice settings.

Finally, we remain committed to supporting clinician wellbeing across our community. This issue includes reminders about the Well‑Being Index, updates on BeneFIT coaching, and new wellness content from Marvin. These resources are designed to be practical, accessible, and relevant—recognizing that caring for clinicians is integral to caring for patients.

Above all, we are grateful for the relationships, teamwork, and shared purpose that define our work together. Thank you for your ongoing dedication to our patients, your colleagues, and our broader mission.
