Being the physician and owner of a small independent medical practice is not for the faint of heart. Running a medical practice involves numerous responsibilities to your patients, employees, and family, and balancing these demands is always a challenge.

 

In my practice, my goal is to provide high-quality care in an empathetic and professional manner. Quality encompasses many aspects; it’s not just about ensuring patients receive updated vaccinations, appropriate screenings for cancer or depression, or thorough reviews of medications and allergies. It’s about going beyond merely checking boxes—it’s about applying current best practices and guidelines sensibly to give each patient the best chance for health and happiness.

 

Quality matters not only to my patients but also to my business. The financial rewards of delivering high-quality care have allowed me to maintain my independence.
