Lehigh Select is a high-value health plan with comprehensive disease management and wellness programs from HealthAmerica and Valley Preferred. A three-tiered PPO plan, TIER 1 offers employees lower-out-of-pocket costs when they choose from Valley Preferred’s 1,025 select providers. TIER 2 offers access to a broader range of providers and TIER 3 is out-of-network.

Lehigh Select Members Have Access to Free Programs to Improve Your Health and Well-being
Through your Lehigh Select plan, created as a collaborative effort with HealthAmerica and Valley Preferred, you and your covered dependents have access to many free programs to help improve your health and well-being. Two of these programs - the Preferred Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Health Support Programs - give you direct access to health professionals that can help you in many ways.
Preferred EAP provides assistance for both personal and work issues. Trained professionals are available every day to assist you and your family members with concerns regarding relationship issues, job stress and conflict, family issues, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and more. If you or your family members need help or have an issue you need to solve, call 610-433-8550, option 0 or 1-800-EAP-8878. All interactions with EAP's caring, certified staff are confidential. This program is made available to you and your dependents through Valley Preferred's performance promise of Care Beyond the Coverage.
In addition, you have access to Health Support Programs, offered through HealthAmerica and Valley Preferred's Health Services. A health specialist can assist you and your dependents with chronic health conditions. As a program participant, you will receive health education material about your health condition and periodic phone calls to provide support to improve your health. The Lehigh Select brochure covers some of the other free programs that you can use, including HealthAmerica KidsHealth, an online health risk assessment (HRA), web-based assistance with fitness and eating goals, and much more.
